Position Overview:


CaryRx is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Quality Assurance Analyst to join our innovative pharmacy team. As a Quality Assurance Analyst at our tech-forward pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and seamless functionality of our cutting-edge digital healthcare solutions. Your keen eye for detail, passion for technology, and commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences will contribute to the advancement of our mission to revolutionize healthcare accessibility and delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies, strategies, and overall quality assurance practices
  • Test Automation Integration:
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to advocate for user-centric design improvements
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools
  • Conduct comprehensive functional and regression testing to ensure software enhancements and updates meet quality standards and don't compromise existing features
  • Bug Tracking and Reporting:
  • Perform rigorous testing of our digital pharmacy platforms, including web and mobile applications, to identify and report software defects and usability issues
  • Continuously enhance test automation processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Functional and Regression Testing:
  • Digital Solution Testing:
  • Continuous Process Improvement:
  • Evaluate user interfaces and experiences to ensure they align with design specifications and provide a user-friendly, intuitive experience
  • User Experience Evaluation:
  • Execute manual and automated testing processes to validate application behavior and functionality
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure alignment on project requirements and expectations
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking systems, ensuring clear and concise information for developers to address promptly
  • Communicate testing progress, results, and potential risks to relevant stakeholders


Requirements


Minimum Qualifications


  • Experience with manual testing and using testing tools to execute test cases
  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies, test case creation, and defect tracking
  • Knowledge of mobile application testing, including iOS and Android platforms
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role, with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal


Preferred Qualifications


  • Certification in software testing (ISTQB or equivalent) is a plus
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and participation in agile ceremonies
  • Understanding of healthcare industry regulations, compliance, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Experience with test automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks
  • Basic understanding of programming languages and development environments
