Job Purpose

ICE Mortgage Technology is a provider of enterprise on-demand solutions, including an online network, software and services for the residential mortgage industry. We are leading the mortgage industry into the future, developing and marketing software solutions that are transforming how mortgage lenders, investors, and settlement service providers work and work together. We are looking for a QA Analyst II who will be responsible for testing to verify the operability and dependencies between a new system in development and existing ones.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a hardworking, detail oriented, and confident person to act as a champion to develop realistic user test cases and data based on the latest mortgage industry trends. In this role you will create and perform manual tests to verify integrity of the code base. You will be expected to work with Product, BAs, and Development.

• Responsible for staying up to date on the latest environment changes and monitoring various chat rooms to watch for system outages.
• Present Defects in project triage meetings and drive them to resolution.
• Works closely with Developers, QA and other project team members to analyze test results, locate problems, identify root causes and develop solutions.
• Defect Management: Responsible for documenting defects including steps to reproduce and expected results.
• Work in a flexible agile development environment with rapid release cycles.
• Work primarily under the direction of a more senior QA Analyst or Engineer.
• Author, Maintain, Execute, and Validate new and existing end to end test cases.

Knowledge and Experience

• 3+ years experience in Quality Assurance
• Computer Science Degree or equivalent from a fully-accredited college or university desired.
• Familiarity with web applications and the ability to learn how to test them via manual methods.
• Experience with various test levels such as integration testing, functional, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration, and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently, without close supervision.
• Understands Agile/Scrum methodologies as well as QA methodologies and best practices.
• Prior Simplifile experience a plus.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
