Responsibilities:

• Handle negotiations pertaining to contract pricing and supply agreements with 3rd party vendors
• Developing forecasting for items to drive purchasing operations
• Will lead, coordinate and manage the company’s procurement daily activities
• Entering orders and updating orders through a ERP system internally
• Will work closely with suppliers, farmers, and our internal team to ensure that the purchasing process runs smoothly and that we are meeting the needs of our customers.
• Will be responsible for managing the purchasing process for designated categories of produce
• Process internal and external material transfers to support production needs.
• Up to date with community trends that involves lumber
• Dealing with cycle count responsibilities

Requirements:

• Proficient in using Oracle ERP software
• Must be able to come in office on a hybrid schedule 3 days a week
• Purchasing produce reasonable price to help support stock levels and production schedules
• Previously worked in a wholesale environment is a plus
• Highly skilled in negotiations and making timely decisions
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Bachelors’ Degree in Supply Chain or any other related field
• Skilled in supply chain practices
• 4 years of experience of purchasing experience in Energy Storage or Renewables is a MUST
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
