Job Description
Purchasing Coordinator – Finance


As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the procurement team. Experience is not necessary, you will learn directly from finance executives, where you will receive on-the-job training and support that will guide you to becoming a finance professional. You will be equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and peer networks that will allow you to develop the required professional qualifications needed to support a wide range of businesses as a procurement specialist in our organization. This practical experience allows you to learn what it takes to manage the supply aspects of a top-ranked technology company. This role is perfect for an individual looking for an opportunity to flourish within a fast-growing company. This role will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.


What you will do as a Purchasing Coordinator:


Daily interaction with various departments including but not limited to: Sales, Warehouse, Field Service Technicians, Professional Development, Technical Support, and Installation Team


  • Work with various departments regarding information pertaining to purchase orders.
  • Contacting suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries, resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries.
  • Manage and maintain all aspects pertaining to software orders and licensing certificates.
  • Update system to reflect current information pertaining to purchase order.
  • Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Contact the vendor regarding receiving and invoice discrepancies.
  • Verify and approve vendor invoices and credits
  • Special projects as requested


What will you bring to the team?


  • Flexible and able to work under pressure in an evolving, fast-paced environment
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft office Suite including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level
  • Strong work ethic and capacity to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to accept change and adapt to new policies and procedures
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow through ability and initiative
  • Excellent communication skills


Pay and Perks:
