- Governmental experience in purchasing, procurements and/or contracts
- Experience with complex and/or technical procurements.
- Juris Doctorate, legal, or paralegal training.
- Procurement certification to include any of the following: C.P.M, C.P.PB., C.P.P.O., C.P.S.M., or C.P.C.M.
- Legal/Technical Writing Experience
- Experience performing alike duties as a State of Colorado classified employee.
- Experience negotiating costs, terms, and conditions of contracts and purchases.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Proven success organizing and tracking complex and heavy workloads.
- Demonstrated skills in critical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to clearly interpret and explain laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and all levels of personnel within the organization, including senior management.
- Demonstrated excellent oral communication skills, writing skills, and listening skills to accurately interpret what others are saying.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of the components of a Statement of Work including project description, definitions, performance requirements/deliverables, and resolution of non-compliance.

- Must be a Colorado resident at time of application.
