Job Description

BLH Technologies, Inc., an award-winning company specializing in public health, communications, technology, and safety monitoring solutions for Federal and commercial clients, is seeking a Public Health and Evaluation Specialist to support Federal clients, including those within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The PHS will be responsible for planning and conducting research and evaluation projects; drafting reports, manuscripts, and presentations; data management and analysis tasks; and assisting with outreach and communications tasks.


Duties


· Plan and conduct project and program evaluations as well as stakeholder research

· Develop reports, manuscripts, presentations, and other publications

· Conduct literature reviews and assist with other research projects as requested

· Conduct statistical analyses, interpret findings, and present results in figures and tables

· Coordinate scientific meetings and liaise with staff from Federal agencies and other organizations

· Develop dissemination and communication products for various audiences

· Ensure quality control and protection of Federal data and communication products

· Assist in the company's corporate marketing and business development efforts.


Qualifications


· A Master's degree in Public Health, Health Communications, or a related field is preferred

· Minimum of 3 years' experience conducting public health or health behavior research

· Government contract experience preferred.


Knowledge and Special Skills

· Extensive experience using statistical software programs (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Stata)

· Strong research, analytical, and leadership skills

· Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal)

· Must be extremely detail-oriented.
