Psychiatry Practice Manager Jobs

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our psychiatry practice as a Practice Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice. The role requires a strong understanding of medical office management and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of office operations, including staff management, appointment scheduling, financial reporting, and patient relations

Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and quality of the practice

Manage and oversee the medical billing process, including insurance claims and collections

Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care

Develop and manage the practice's budget, including financial reporting and analysis

Manage the implementation and maintenance of electronic medical records systems (both private practice behavioral health EMR and EPIC for hospital)

Develop and manage the practice's prior authorization submission processes

Handle customer service issues and ensure timely resolution of patient complaints

Manage practice communication with university programs and onboarding of students each month

Develop and implement programs and initiatives that promote well-being among our staff, for example social outings and team development exercises

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field

5+ years of experience in medical office management, with experience in psychiatry preferred

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of medical billing and insurance practices

Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems

Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
