The Staff Psychiatrist under the direction of the Mental Health Director has responsibility for monitoring and implementing high standards of medical practices related to a diverse rural population of children, adolescents, adults and older adults. The position will be responsible for ensuring that medical care is provided in keeping medical services (phone only) in crisis situations. The position requires contribution to the development of a strategic plan for the enhancement of medical and related psychotherapeutic services both within the agency and to external community providers or support services. Productive relationships shall be maintained with consumer advocacy groups, other medical services and providers within the county, educators, and public and other community service agencies.

Pay: $143.97 - $175.00 per hour
