Job Description

From fundamental physics to leading edge commercial products, Infleqtion enables “quantum everywhere” through our ecosystem of devices and platforms. We are recruiting for a Proposals Specialist.
Location
Infleqtion has 6 office locations, operating out of Austin, TX; Boulder/Louisville, CO; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; London, UK; and Melbourne, AU. This position is a full-time, hybrid position which will be located in our Louisville, CO office.
Position Summary
The newly hired Proposal Specialist supports the Vice President of Proposals & Contracts including preparing, assembling and submitting proposals; preparing, reviewing and analyzing budgets; coordinating with appropriate personnel to resolve issues associated with meeting sponsor requirements; submitting financial assistance proposals; analyzing and implementing pricing tools; preparing certification packages and budget formats to solicitation requirements; performing compliance matrix on solicitation requirements; creates supporting documentation for sponsor review and Government pre-award audit; communicating and training various audiences on proposal preparation policy and practice; assisting in documenting background intellectual property rights; and preparing small business subcontracting plans.
Primary Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Depending on business needs, this role may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • Establishes and maintains proposal, files and records
  • Prepares routine letters, correspondence and standard forms
  • Assists in the communication of proposal preparation policy and practice to internal staff
  • Assists in preparing, assembling and submitting proposals for sponsored programs
  • Assists in the review and analysis of budgets
  • Assists in documenting background intellectual property rights in proposal submissions
  • Assists in the identification of the need for Government property
  • Assists in proposal related problem resolution to include providing supporting documentation in support of sponsor review and Government pre-award audit
  • Coordinates with contract specialists and technical personnel to resolve issues to ensure proposal meets sponsor requirements
  • Assists in the preparation of small business subcontracting plans
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Working knowledge of Sharepoint or other proposal collaboration software
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited college or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Self-motivated, energetic individuals with strong problem-solving and technical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, team-oriented, and matrixed environment
  • This role requires that you do not require sponsorship or a work visa transfer
  • Ability to travel domestically and (potentially) internationally up to 10%
  • Professional level verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Flexible and open to changing schedules and priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes
  • Highly developed word processing skills, especially with Microsoft Office products and working knowledge of graphics and desktop software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Superior level of attention to detail and accuracy and advanced organizational and time management skills
  • Startup mentality: smart, self-starter, proactive, and a can-do cross-functional team player
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to thrive and produce results in a fluid, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
  • Able and willing to work extended hours to meet dynamically changing needs and delivery schedules
This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
