Job Description
Eastern Research Group, Inc. ( www.erg.com ), a well-respected consulting firm with a wide range of federal clients, is seeking a full-time Property Administrator to support federal government contracts. We offer a flexible work environment including a remote/office hybrid option in our Morrisville, North Carolina or Chantilly, Virginia offices. Duties Include


  • Participating in vendor evaluations; and
  • Traveling to ERG offices as needed to support property management activities;
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Working with clients and ERG technical and contracts staff to provide integrated property administration support in compliance with contract requirements, approved procedures, and government regulations;
  • Purchasing materials and supplies for ERG technical staff using approved procurement procedures;
  • Enhancing, implementing, and managing a FAR-compliant property management program, including tracking assets throughout the property lifecycle (acquisition, receipt, inventory, recordkeeping, maintenance, movement, delegation to subcontractors, and closeout);
  • Conducting internal property audits, preparing government property reports, and responding to government audits as needed;
  • Performing supply and warehousing activities, including storage, receipt/shipping of items, and restocking;


The Position Requires The Following Education And Work Experience


  • Ability to draft client requests and correspondence, along with purchasing documentation;
  • BA/BS preferred, with a minimum of 5 years hands on experience with relevant government property management and administration experience;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, including attention to detail;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access;
  • Knowledge of FAR government property regulations (experience with EPA and HHS specific property regulations are a plus) and standard industry practices;
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and
