Temporary Moderator

WORK LOCATION: Onsite location in Los Angeles, CA

WORK SCHEDULE: Mon-Sat, 8 - 9 hour shift

JOB STATUS: Full-time, Temporary

JOB DURATION: August - November 2023

Project Summary

The focus of this user study is to generate indoor data via wearable devices and collect audio recordings of each participant. The study moderator will guide participants through a series of tasks. Each moderated session will last 90 min.

Role Summary

Moderators are expected to interact directly with study participants using provided study protocols and managing the data collected during each session. Moderators will report to the Project Manager and Project Coordinator. Training will be provided before the start of data collection. Sessions occur in Los Angeles, CA, with additional support staff on-site to manage participant intake and provide technical support.

Main Responsibilities

• Receive participants at work and guide them through the video study in a controlled environment.
• Have all participants complete a survey at the end of each session.
• Ensure all recordings are done per project guidelines and upload the data.
• Represent and promote the TELUS AI brand.
• Follow COVID-19 sanitization procedures after each session.

Minimum Requirements

• Familiarity with iOS and Mac OS
• Technical/troubleshooting skills; address fundamental problems with launching apps and uploading data.
• Experience with progress tracking and reporting, comfortable with Excel or Sheets.
• Able to commit to a weekly schedule for the duration of the project.
• Experience with data collection and data management.
• Ability to interact professionally with project participants.
• Experience with video recording.
