The Digital team is seeking to hire a Project Manager to support the creation, refinement, and operations of the organization’s virtual care services. The candidate must be highly organized, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. They must enjoy the challenge of a dynamic environment and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize work and execute on tasks while anticipating challenges. It will be important for the person in this role be able to accomplish tasks through others, including peers, physicians, various hospital and Mass General Brigham leaders as well as external collaborators.
Effective clinical operations management will require acute political navigation skills, clinical service management experience, emotional intelligence, and the ability to closely interface with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, including physicians, nurses, software engineers, technical specialists as well as managers and executives. The ideal candidate should also be skilled in many aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization. They should have a strong interest and aptitude for data quality management and will be responsible for the curation, processing and analysis of relevant data.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- Management and status reporting tools
- Project administrative activities
- Provide project-specific analysis and guidance to project team members that support timely and quality results. Monitor quality of work performed by team members throughout the project.
- Requirements definition (functional and/or technical)
- Implementation
- Assists in the implementation of new operational processes and governance models that lead to efficiency in the operational management of virtual care services.
- Provide quality customer service and serve as an exemplary representative of Mass General Brigham. On-going communication, feedback and follow-through with customers and executive leadership is essential
- Plan, manage and over-see projects, utilizing recognized project management methodology including activities such as:
- Definition of project scope and objectives
- Management and status reporting tools
- Requirements definition (functional and/or technical)
- System testing/quality assurance
- Implementation
- Post-implementation/on-going support
- Project administrative activities
- Documentation
- Prepares/delivers presentations to Senior leadership group across MGB, identifies resource model, and tracks all related program items for progress
- Identifies, resolves, and escalates issues as needed.
- Owns the day-to-day operations of activities related to assigned program(s)

- Establish and create a positive team environment through informal leadership and mentoring.

Qualifications
- 5 or more years experience in management operations and project management, preferably within a healthcare environment
- PMP or other PM certification preferred
- Bachelors degree required
- Ability to cooperatively and effectively work with people from various organization levels (entry level staff to senior leadership) and build consensus through negotiation and diplomacy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide direction as needed to team members, other staff and consultants.
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Strong PC / Microsoft skills required (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio)
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Ability to work within a complex, multi-site environment
- Ability to understand the program environment and competing priorities in conjunction with program goals.
- Ability to handle stressful situations in calm and professional manner
- Frequent local travel to Partners sites.
- Standard office environment.
- No direct reports but must be able to manage indirect resources who are participating in project
