As a project manager, you will drive multiple projects across departments in order to achieve Manufacturing Training KPIs. You will work as a member of the Program Management training team and will focus on supporting our Learning Management Systems - Course creation, schedule, conduct and execution and in creating the project management processes, help scale the training team across manufacturing. You as Project Manager will be working with training staff and other cross functional partners to ensure that projects are executed. The scope of work will challenge you to develop unique solutions that produce result in an ambiguous and complex environment. You’ll be a key partner to training leadership and will lead project management for all of the core learning and development programs such as: Onboarding, Training Certifications, Maintenance of Certification, and other key programs. You will enable alignment and streamline processes to multiple new programs and systems.
- Develop checkpoints to ensure the stakeholders are engaged with projects appropriately
- Prioritize tasks across multiple projects in an ambiguous and complex environment
- Manage and streamline the operational cadence of the training team and projects
- Assist with change management and communication
- Create and maintain project plans to ensure deadlines are met, potential roadblocks and risks are anticipated, escalated, and solved for, and budget goals are met
- Establish and scale project management for the training team, in partnership with the Training Program Manager
- Facilitate alignment on project plans, leverage functional expertise, and drive timely execution of deliverables
- Create and maintain an inventory of the vehicles, tools, and equipment used by the training team.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail
- Firm understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the renewable energy industry is preferred
- Related work experience in training and development project management
- Excellent communication skills required with the ability to bring ross functional departments together to determine solutions
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background screen
- Experience with Microsoft, SharePoint, InsideTesla, and JIRA a plus
- Expertise in Microsoft Office a must
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous, and complex environment with a forward-thinking mindset
- Ability to understand complex information and communicate with people of diverse professional backgrounds
- Repair Technician background preferred
- Human Resources, Training, People career development related project management experience preferred
- Professional composure, approachability, and interpersonal skills
