The Role: JCDecaux is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager, Special Projects to oversee and coordinate various initiatives within our organization. As the Operations Manager, Special Projects, you will be responsible for managing large capital deployments, optimizing operational processes, supporting EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) initiatives, and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards. This is a critical role that requires exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time position based in our NYC office and will operate on a hybrid work model. Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000 Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead project management efforts for our large Capital Deployments in 2023, specifically MCO, MIA, IAH/E, and IAH/D. Act as the gatekeeper of all action items, coordination meeting minutes, deadlines, and milestones in collaboration with the technical group. Develop and maintain detailed Gantt charts and schedules for permitting construction, procurement, fabrication, and installation roll-out. Coordination with Ad Ops: Assist with coordinating the creation of upcoming inventory in collaboration with Ad Ops. Ensure accurate and timely entry of data necessary for asset creation/depreciation (SAP) and advertising offers (Hive/ADventory). KPI and Dashboard: Maintain and enhance the existing OPS Financial dashboard (PowerBI) developed by Prosper in collaboration with the Finance team. Relieve workload from Mike's team by coordinating data entry for EHS and OPS data, enabling other team members to focus on their digital duties. Support the migration of the three heavyweights (LAX, Chi SF, NYC SF) to KIS in 2023/S1, dynamic content campaigns, and digital capital deployments (MCO, MIA, IAH/E+D). EHS Support: Develop written procedures to document operations processes, focusing on EHS, installation, maintenance, and streamlining efficiency. Research new techniques, tools, and procedures through web research, JCD CORP library, and other JCD subsidiaries' best practices to enhance compliance and robustness. Conduct systematic and regular OSHA audits and random stress tests to ensure compliance with applicable standards. Improve EHS trainings based on audit findings and employee feedback, while exploring external training materials and documentation. Manage ISO 14001 certification compliance and prepare for ISO 45001 certification in 2023/2024 by reviewing standards, conducting gap analysis, and developing a roadmap for the certification audit.
Qualifications & Requirements : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering) or equivalent experience. A minimum of one year of professional experience within Project or Operations Management. Proven experience in project management, preferably with large-scale capital deployments. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of EHS regulations and certifications (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001) is highly desirable. Proficiency in using project management tools, Gantt charts, and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI). Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and identify insights to drive improvements. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
