Scheduler


Develop project schedules via interactive planning sessions with an extended project team. Maintain multiple project schedules reporting to multiple project managers. Assist in the development of alternative plans including unforeseen events. Maintain weekly and monthly reports and metrics.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design: Provides reporting according to project standards, as well as on an as needed/special request basis. Prepares “what if” scenarios, as needed, for the project team.
  • Communication: Ongoing interactions with project team members, external vendors, senior and mid-level management. Serves as the subject matter expert for scheduling.
  • Project Leadership: Provides education to project team and vendors to help create a solid project plan.
  • Delivery: Develops and manages multiple project schedules.
  • Implementation: Updates and maintains project schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Handles 30M dollars in project work without assistance. Able to manage multiple projects and multiple project managers simultaneously.
  • Expertise and Collaboration: Supports project meetings and answers questions that arise from the project team(s). Cross-functional collaboration with all levels of client management.


Qualifications:


  • Need 5-10 experience in project scheduling
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical area


Minimum Requirements:


  • Knows how to resource load a schedule
  • Understand how equipment works
  • Proficient in MSP
  • Project management skills required
  • Expertise in P6 software
  • Able to run interactive planning sessions and build a schedule from the ground up
  • Able to create new reports and generate metrics with limited assistance
