The Role
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in daily communications with technicians, acting as the liaison between Sales, Technicians, Engineering, and Clients. Your expertise will contribute to managing client expectations throughout and post-project, ensuring smooth operations for a seamless client experience. While proficiency in certain software and background requirements are important, we highly value an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to take the initiative in creating opportunities.

Flexible Work Schedule
This is a part-time, hybrid or in-office (based on your preference) position. We anticipate a weekly commitment of at least 15 hours, potentially increasing to 20 - 30 hours per week. The schedule offers flexibility in terms of shifts, with an average of 1-2 hours per day during normal business hours for effective communication, and the remaining work hours can be completed before or after business hours.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of verifiable project management experience in a construction-related (Contractor, architect, interior design), marketing, or software development firm.
Comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently.
Courteous yet concise communication style via text, chat, email & phone.
Proficiency in Excel & Word software.
Adaptability to new business-management software.
Desired Education/Certifications/Experience
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business, Accounting, Engineering, and/or Communications.
Experience with CAD, Visio, Solid Works, or other engineering and 3D rendering software.
Computer Science, Engineering, IT background.
Familiarity with CRM & Project Management software suites.
Experience with project management software such as ZoHo, Microsoft Project, Builder Trend, Basecamp.
Experience with D-Tools, SRS, Design Machine, and/or other industry-specific software.
Experience programming Control4, Savant, Vantage, Lutron Systems.

Location:
The ideal candidate should be located within 2 hours of our Charlottesville, VA headquarters (VA, DC & WV), but remote work is possible for the right fit. We also consider candidates near our Naples, FL or New York City offices.
