Job Title: Project Manager-I
Duration: 3 months + potential extension
Work Mode: Remote (support PST mostly, and meetings with Asia teams)
Top 3 must-have skills:
- Jira and Confluence– 3+ years; nice to have Kanban experience
- Proficient with Microsoft suite; Teams and Slack
- GitHub
As a member of the World Ready Team, you will be part of an international group dedicated to ensuring Client delivers locally relevant, market leading products in every country, allowing every customer to participate in the global economy. From the early stages of the product cycle, we prioritize world readiness.
Your focus will be on managing projects for system-generated emails, SMS (Short Message Service) and alerts. These notifications are sent to Client customers, an average of 1 billion notifications per month. This role has an immediate impact on execution health.
What You’ll Do:
As a World Ready Project Manager, you will:
• Manage projects that include stakeholders and team members from Product, UX Design, Content, Engineering, and Localization.
• Review incoming system notification requests to ensure requirements are well understood and complete prior to development.
• Work collaboratively with all teams involved in system notification efforts.
• Evangelize system notification processes and best practices to both engineering and non-engineering partners.
• Monitor system notifications projects to help address questions, remove any blockers, and keep projects progressing to plan.
• Provide stakeholder and leadership communication – including ongoing and one-off meetings.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to continually optimize our processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, foreign equivalent, or extended professional experience in this field
• 3+ years managing website projects at a top technology company
• 5+ years professional work experience in a corporate environment that involved driving multiple cross-functional efforts and demonstrating operational excellence
• Highly proficient in Atlassian tools especially Jira
• Highly proficient in with Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, GitHub
• Track record of working successfully and positively with cross-functional groups and matrixed organizations in multiple geographies to manage numerous, complex initiatives simultaneously
Success in this role requires:
• In-depth knowledge and experience with a variety of notification types (email, sms, system alerts) and their associated technologies.
• Outstanding planning, organizational and process development skills with a keen ability to prioritize and lead multiple efforts at the same time.
• A focus on executional excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and influencing skills to build trust and lasting partnerships with diverse global teams.
• Clear, authentic, respectful, and effective communication style suitable for diverse audiences at all levels of an organization, in all situations; excellence in written and verbal communication is a given.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to distill complex scenarios into comprehensible components, suitable for diverse audiences and fast-moving stakeholders.
• Effective pivoting skills to enable adapting quickly to change, shifting gears comfortably and operating successfully (and pleasantly) amidst ambiguity.
• Inspirational project management skills and the ability to create a culture of enthusiasm and positivity.
• A passion for making order out of chaos.
Experience in these areas would be a plus, but are not required:
· Localization Project Management, Digital Project Management and/or Web Producer experience
· Planning & collaboration tools like Smartsheet and MS Teams/SharePoint
· Kanban methods and frameworks
· Slack or other similar tools
· Knowledge of the payments industry

Collaboration
50% - reviewing tickets for system notification requirements and following up
25% - Scheduling delivery of requests with product team – end to end product schedule
