Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Project Manager in Warrenville IL. Our client is a Automation company. The Project Manager is responsible for assigning tasks to the right team members, checking on their progress, and ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities Of a Project Managerincludes

• Define and document project scope, objectives and desired outcome

• Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement
• Provide project updates to stakeholders as per demand and requirement
• Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
• Create and maintain detailed project documentation
• Prepare a budget based on project scope
• Estimate resource requirement, acquire it effectively and manage efficiently
• Manage interdepartmental coordination to ensure smooth project execution
• Use the right tools and techniques for easier project management
• Be aware of industry best practices, techniques and standards, and encourage team members to use them for effective project execution
• Ensure project delivery is on time, as per scope and within the allocated budget
• Implement a work plan for each team member based on project requirements and member expertise
• Track project performance periodically to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met
• Undertake risk management to minimize potential risks
• Set and adhere to budgetary allocations, estimate cost and monitor budget through finish

Job Requirements Of a Project Manager

• Adept at negotiating internally as well as externally
• Proven leadership skills
• Proficient at managing time and resources
• Ability to draw up detailed project plans and schedules
• Detail-oriented
• Capable of managing crises as and when they arise
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

REQUIRED Experience And Education

• Proven experience in using popular project management tools: Asana, Trello, Kanban boards, 5S etc.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Proven experience of five to ten years in managing projects of similar size and type
• Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience of five to ten years in managing projects of similar size and type
• Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices.
