We protect nearly 33,000 residential and commercial customers.

Role Overview
Responsible for managing and closing medium to large scale Commercial Fire Alarm and Security System projects. The Project Manager ensures that all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with the Company’s requirements, including but not limited to, safety, quality, management, and financial performance requirements. All aspects of the assigned projects must be conducted as efficiently as possible with respect to staffing, materials management, fiscal management, customer care and customer delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the workload distribution and monitor the customer delivery and job installation progress.
  • Manage and supervise all project related staff. Provide guidance and mentoring to meet all customer and company goals and objectives.
  • Reviews all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in the bid process working closely with the sales team on project price points as required.
  • Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work.
  • Act as the Company liaison for interface with General/Sub contractors and other project related trades.
  • Coordinate and manage all required City, State and Federal government required permitting.
  • Plan for, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.

Qualifications

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
  • Must be initiative-taking, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
  • Must have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
  • Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks, and manage these to final completion and customer turnover.
  • Nicet level 2 or 3 a plus
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in electronic security and life safety systems or a related technical or construction field and supervisory or managerial experience
  • Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • PMP preferred
  • Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
  • Vesda certification a plus
  • EST/Simplex/Siemens/Notifier certifications a plus

Work Requirements:

  • Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
  • Must be able to travel within the state of Hawaii supporting all branch projects.
