The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, managing, and monitoring of key projections from initiation to closing. This will include working with multiple levels of the organization to develop comprehensive project plans, facilitate project meetings, maintain project schedules, remediate issues, and achieve project milestones; will also be responsible for communication of the overall project status. This is a remote role.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and manage project teams to excel in developing project plans and objectives; provide project team with a clear sense of direction; communicate effectively and timely with each team member.
  • Develop and maintain processes to effectively manage multiple school projects across the organization and establish repeatable processes to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets; maintain support from internal stakeholders and resources.
  • Manage operational compliance when working on field related acquisitions and school projects.
  • Integrate new growth opportunities, including acquisitions and school expansion, renovation, and new build projects; manage cross-functional activities of project team to provide appropriate responses and status reporting.
  • Organize, initiate, and maintain weekly support calls/follow-up between Learning Care Group departments, developers/clients, sellers and field staff; drive issues to closure through effective communication across all parties.
  • Understand and research project purpose and charter; partner with project sponsors/ELT to drive project budget and schedule.
  • Develop metrics to examine and track performance as it relates to customer satisfaction and financial performance and effectively communicate with leadership to ensure visibility of projects.
  • Partner with necessary departments such as Finance, HR, Licensing, Operations, Purchasing, Marketing, Education, Facilities, and IT to drive project requirements, milestones and project metrics; assist with data modeling for viability and tracking of each project.
  • Communicate project status to all levels of the organization including the Executive Leadership team.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree required.
  • Experience in Project Management and Operations in a large multi-unit organization preferred.
  • Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience.

Other Skills and Abilities Qualifications:

  • Proficient time management, organizational skills and ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Proficient in SmartSheet and/or MS Project.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to negotiate project details when necessary.
  • Must have ability to coordinate, strategize, and organize multiple projects, including varying team schedules and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with experience managing multi-functional projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Effective communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with internal and external partners to meet deadlines and complete projects.
  • Capable of working with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

Travel Percentage

Up to 25%, including overnight.
