Role: Project Manager

Location: Torrance, CA - Candidates, Hybrid Role

Duration: 24 months

Contract: The applicant must be willing to work on TenTek W2. No corp to corp applicants

Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community and project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations and business objectives.

This person would be Managing the implementation of multiple-part system projects.

• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong facilitator - Ability to reach across to other teams to ensure project deliverables are delivered on time.
• Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate ideas.
• Ability to lead meetings, gain consensus, and take and distribute meeting minutes.
• Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources.
• Manages one or more crossfunctional projects of high complexity.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
• Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
• Identify complex risks, lead reviews, create risk mitigation, and implement action plans.
• Manage teams through all phases of cycle development, including analysis, project design and development, testing periods, installation, and final delivery.
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership
• Strong vendor management skills. Some projects will have work outsourced to onshore and offshore resources.
• Responsible for assembling project plans, teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Manage and control project cost and schedule.
• Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders.
• Manage project scope and changes
• Responsible for the management of one or more medium to large?sized, moderately to highly complex projects

Academic/Experience/Competency

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

• Project Management PMP certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified.
• Advanced ability in implementing program and project plans, monitoring progress, resource usage, and quality.
• Strong presentation skills with experience in providing project updates to all levels of the organization.
• Advanced ability to oversee and manage large, complex, diverse, and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole.
• Experience in automotive is a plus.
• Experience working with Clarity is a plus.
• Self-starter - Ability to leverage previous experience and available information to create and update project plans. Requires little oversight.
• Experience in Logistics/Supply chain desired.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership, drive results, solve problems, and possess interpersonal skills from prior work situations.
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.
• Advanced understanding of multiple project management disciplines; waterfall, agile/scrum.
