Job Description

The Human Resources Project Manager will oversee projects within the human resources department with potential crossover into other departments within the organization and programs. In this role, the job duties include establishing the parameters of the project, setting deadlines/timelines, coordinating the schedule of staff and vendors involved, and monitoring the project’s progress from start to finish. The HR Project Manager will ensure that everyone involved understands the direction and purpose of the project and that the results not only meet the company’s goals but are also consistent with company policy.


The position requires excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills. The HR Project Manager will need to feel comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders within a complex system. The HR Project Manager will ensure that the projects support the long-term goals of the HR team. The successful candidate will also provide sound “best practices” in project management and will cultivate relationships and partnerships with all external and internal customers by providing warm, friendly, positive and supportive services.


This position is not available for remote work, but we have an optional hybrid schedule available. Staff are required to be on-site in our office during their assigned scheduled days.

The salary range for this position is $80,280 to $92,768 annually depending on experience/qualifications.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Monitors and tracks performance measures and reports to CHRO and HR Directors so the team will know where the project stands at any given time.
  • Provides information and instruction on how to implement and follow HR policies.
  • Serves as a liaison between HQ Human Resources, Clients/Program Partners, and business leaders, as needed.
  • Identifies and pro-decision-makers actively address business needs and offer solutions.
  • Recognizes when projects need to involve additional partners and decision makers.
  • Leads HR projects or leads cross-team projects, which may include developing new programs and initiatives.
  • Develops and deliver implementation plans for new processes and systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Creates documents and communicates ideas effectively in an effort to relay the information to colleagues within the HR department and in other departments.
  • Creates new, and updates existing, HR programs and policies.
  • Handles many different tasks for multiple projects while juggling different duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Attends meetings, conferences, and other events representing Heluna Health, as needed and required.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • 5 years, of functional HR experience with knowledge of HR policies/processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience working collaboratively with diverse groups with multiple activities, timelines, and deadlines.
  • 3 years, of experience in client, program, and project management.


Other Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with computer and application skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to actively participate in and contribute to internal and external meetings, collaborations, progress meetings, training meetings, and performance meetings.
  • Knowledge of and experience with various HR systems.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining relationships to effectively work across all levels of the organization.
  • Expert analytical skills, with a proven ability to operate strategically but still have a hands-on approach when needed.
  • Knowledgeable in HR trends and legislation; able to identifying trends and specific policies related to the organization by conducting research and staying current on “best in class” policies and procedures.
  • Adept at working independently or in a team environment to organize and direct projects to successful completion.
  • Experience in developing and conducting presentations to multiple partners and large and small groups.
