Person with moderate experience who possesses the skills and abilities to manage a project. Typical duties involve the consultant coordination, and technical development of project drawings and documents. We are looking for a talented, experienced individual who will make an impact within the company.
Job Tasks:
  • Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Assist other senior staff in the development of project budgets and financial goals and assist senior staff when requested in processing of project billing drafts and invoice reviews
  • Prepare the project final completion punch list and the project certificate of substantial completion and review of the project as built drawings and coordination of these drawings and documentation with the client
  • Personally prepare and draw the project deliverables as required to complete the design development and construction documents for the project when needed
  • Responsible for the coordination, planning, and actions of the company's consultants, during the project design, design development, construction document preparation, and construction phases of projects
  • Responsible for representing client meetings, team meetings, and construction meetings during the project
  • Monitor and direct project team staff on the meeting of project performance goals, hours estimates, extra services identification and requests, collections activities on project specific basis
  • Process or have processed under their direct supervision contractor shop drawings, requests for information, change orders, extra services, requests for information, progress billings and job site reviews during the course of construction on the project
  • Responsible for the determination or the assistance of other senior staff in the determination of project fees, development of contracts, client interaction, organization and collections during the project process
  • Organize and understand the project's design intent, project needs and requirements, and overall project objectives
  • Coordinate the interaction of the project team's technical and design staff to further develop the project design and transition the project documents from design concepts and level of completion to thoroughly developed and complete project documents meeting the contractual and client expectations
  • Exercise independent judgment and decision making based upon their technical expertise and experience to meet the client needs and expectations on projects and identify requests, coordinate and assist senior staff with the preparation of client additional services requests
  • During the design development and construction document preparation processes, coordinate and direct the work staff, consultants, and other engineers under the clients contract to prepare and coordinate accurate and complete contract drawings, documents, and specifications that allow the project to obtain building permits from the required administrative agencies
Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience is required to successfully perform this job
  • At minimum a one-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Education:
  • Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Required skills:
  • Must be proficient in computer use and computer-aided design software. Specific knowledge of the following programs is required: AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Professional programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and others, and general knowledge of general office business computer systems and software.

Licenses:
  • Architectural license preferred but not required.
