Job Description

Project Manager


Pollinate is a full-service creative agency based in downtown Portland, Oregon. Our clients recognize us as a marketing engine, powered by adaptability and creativity. We believe in over-delivery, responsiveness and high-quality output. Pollinate is seeking a Project Manager to join our Account Team. We love Project Managers as they create strong relationships with clients and lead internal teams while ensuring we release a great product that excites consumers.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing WordPress sites, with a desire to work on full-service projects. We are a small but mighty team and this role will be instrumental in the success of the work we produce.

While our headquarters are in downtown Portland, we are open to this role being fully remote within the United States.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Ownership or co-participation in weekly status calls with agency client teams
  • Communication directly with agency clients in order to understand their operational and business goals to better serve their needs
  • Management and responsibility for the lifecycle of client initiatives that include, but aren't limited to: Custom website and mobile app development and maintenance (specializing in WordPress CMS); creative and media campaigns, including video, print, social, and digital placements.
  • Development of scopes of work and accurate estimates for clients or prospective clients
  • Development and maintenance of weekly status meeting documents, ensuring all teams are aware and up-to-date on the status of each client initiative
  • Creation and on-going management of project schedules to inform internal agency resources, clients, and 3rd party vendor partners
  • Instill confidence and proven leadership capabilities based on the goals of Pollinate
  • Accountability to internal teams, clients and vendors for owned initiatives
  • Management and prioritization of multiple projects, pieces of business and/or client teams concurrently
  • Responsible for internal resourcing, to ensure we have appropriate team members available and dedicated to fulfilling client initiatives on time
  • Continued project budget tracking through lifecycle, to keep internal team aware of project health and flag scope creep


DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate for this position has:

  • Must be able to handle multiple, diverse tasks simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field
  • 2+ years of Project Management (Agency setting preferred)
  • Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Jira, Basecamp, Smartsheet
  • Experience with managing WordPress websites
  • Attention to detail and committed to driving results
  • Must exhibit strong leadership abilities, and must exercise good judgment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
