Our client is a leading mining company providing solutions for lithium extraction, who are focused on building partnerships with brine developers and operators around the world. They have developed key technologies to address the challenges faced by lithium producers and are a team of engineers passionate about delivering innovations to the mining sector to minimise environmental impact and support the clean energy economy.

With a focus on growth our client is looking for a Senior Project Engineer, they will lead a team to manage the scale up of process equipment and coordinate EPCs. The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects with capital costs up to one billion dollars.

Duties include-

• Developing and maintain the various project specific procedures, work practices, plans and protocols to enable the project team to work efficiently and maintain a consistent approach and high standard of work.
• Ensuring the quality of output of the allocated project team, and that it is aligned with the needs of the project, the company objectives and meets regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring the management and technical competence of the project team in the delivery of the projects is enhanced and developed to meet the requirements of the company.
• Ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the project control (reporting, costs, schedule, trends and change management) in terms of both direct and indirect costs.

Required experience-

• 10+ years of experience in project management.
• Previous experience working on battery metals projects.
• Previous experience managing projects over $500m.
• Previous managerial experience of project teams.
