• HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $95k – $135k /yr

About The Job
Versus Game is a prediction game where you get paid for being right. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to help build cross-platform web applications and keep our product and client deliveries on track - from planning to delivery. You will be working with an experienced global cross-functional team to build and launch awesome user experiences for the players as well as the creators hosting the games. We are looking for a highly skilled individual with experience in managing the delivery of complex software - with internal teams and with partners. Expertise and experience in software application development, AI/ML and data integration are required. Startup experience is a big plus.
Key Responsibilities

• Track, manage, and report on program health to internal leaders, including escalating known dependencies, risk, or issues to be unblocked.
• Track execution to ensure that key milestones are met and that projects are delivered effectively to achieve the overall goals.
• Performs core project management duties, following established agile processes and stakeholder checkpoints.
• Facilitate product stand-ups (grooming, planning, retrospectives, etc.)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, establish trust with a variety of stakeholders across multiple time zones, find and implement process efficiency, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.
• Coordinate release schedules
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure the roadmap, epics, user stories are clearly defined, and backlog priorities are maintained to enable a smooth agile development process and minimize blockers.
• Own the JIRA boards as an Admin.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to facilitate the delivery process; comfortable partnering with remote product delivery teams.
• Develop integrated plans that include program deliverables, strategic alignment, milestones, risks, assumptions, constraints.

Requirements

• Data-driven, analytically oriented, with a commitment to process improvement
• Leadership experience, the ability to enforce good project governance and promote delivery excellence.
• Experience leading engagements with substantial exposure and involvement with data science, cloud infrastructure, solution architecture, application development, mobile app development, and data engineering
• Credible customer/partner presence, capable of stepping into a trusted advisor role
• Minimum of 6-8 years software delivery management experience; startup and leading tech experience a big plus.
• Ability to successfully communicate and work with senior executive stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation, written communication with keen attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Effectively work across partner and internal teams to problem solve, define scope, write technical specifications, quantify and track success metrics, and manage against a plan.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate between the business and technical domains of a software implementation project, providing leadership in both.
