The Boeing Company is looking for a Project Management Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.


As a successful candidate, you will apply a high-level understanding and knowledge of the processes involved in program planning and scheduling, including schedule performance measurement techniques and associated cost measurement techniques, along with risk and opportunity what-if analyses.


This position is for one of several roles on teams that support military programs.


Up to 10% travel might be required.


Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level and Associate Level Project Management Specialist.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Works with Enterprise Gated Process. Able to Lead SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement standard methodologies that support project decision makers
  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
  • Responsible for supporting DoD proposal development including Basis of Estimates (BOE)
  • Assists Management to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to partners
  • Creates schedules, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
  • Acts as technical project contact to establish key partner requirements and project objectives
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.


This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • Experience with program management, project management and/or Business Operations
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with Military or DoD customers
  • Experience with Program Management Best Practices including Base Line Management, Risk/Issue/Opportunity Management, Performance Metrics, Customer Communications, Requirements Management, Supplier Management, and/or Earned Value Management


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • 1+ years of experience do you have working with Cross-Functional Teams, Military, or DoD customers
  • 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience


Typical Education/Experience:


Entry-Level (Level 1)


Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).


Associate Level (Level 2)


Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range entry-level: $52,700 – $71,300


Summary pay range associate level: $63,750 – $86,250


Export Control Requirements: U.S. Government Export Control Status: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.


  • 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
