The Need
After almost 25 years of continued growth and operational success in pioneering the work of protecting those who are experiencing poverty from violence, IJM has become a $100+ million organization. As IJM continues this trajectory of growth and scaling of its impact, with the Vision to protect 500 million people by the year 2030, IJM is adding a Project Manager – Integrated Fundraising. This role is responsible for planning and execution of key initiatives within the Integrated Fundraising department. IJM North America project managers are tasked with utilizing project management to support how the division drives efficiency and speed to market for IJM North America’s mission goals. This position leads key projects that drive the growth of mass market and mid-level fundraising via the direct response channel team.
This role will instigate projects collaborating closely with members of the channel team on all of their initiatives, collaborate closely with Audience managers, and other internal & external stakeholders. They will develop and implement effective plans to manage each project’s scope, timeline, budget, and progress against performance metrics. The position will ensure effective communication rhythms to keep project stakeholders apprised of project status and changes, facilitate meetings, and provide monitoring of deliverables by project stakeholders to ensure the work achieves its desired results. This role will lead projects that drive process improvement and requires a willingness to take on tasks of all size and the ability to engage professionally with staff from all backgrounds and levels.
Compensation range: $65,000-75,000/year.

Responsibilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to inspire staff to be collaborative, efficient and create a sense of community and teamwork;
  • Ability to receive guidance and subsequently work independently to implement key initiatives;
  • Develops thoughtful project management plans and implements them in a timely and detailed fashion;
  • Positive attitude and inspiring personality;
  • 3+ years’ experience managing workflow and/or resource prioritization;
  • 3+ years managing complex projects with multiple stages and outcomes, including projects with complex technical needs;
  • Collaborate with and support Directors of Development to identify Principal level donors and facilitate tactics to move those donors to give sustainably at this level.
  • Ability to create process documentation, technology curriculum materials, and training artifacts; and
  • Familiarity with and ability to adapt to different learning styles;

  • What is a statement of faith?
A statement of faith should describe your Christian faith and how you see it as relevant to your involvement with IJM. The statement can either be incorporated into the cover letter or submitted as a separate document and should include, at a minimum, a description of your spiritual disciplines (prayer, study, etc.) and your current fellowship or place of worship.
