As the Project Leader you will perform duties required to bring together activities of Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Service to execute assigned projects. You act as a knowledgeable and well-rounded contact person for BW Papersystems Customers. In addition, you are responsible for ensuring proper execution of sold projects from conception to final payment. You will specifically focus on supporting customers domestically, in the U.S.A.
Job Functions

• Interface directly with other OEM vendors on machine interface questions and equipment specifications in regard to the installation.
• Follow BW Papersystems Project Management standard work handbook. Other duties as assigned.
• Interface with Customer, Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Accounting and Manufacturing as necessary to maintain alignment in delivering what was sold.
• Engage necessary internal teams to swiftly solve technical and/or warranty issues as required to meet customer expectations.
• Lead major projects and travel as required to customer sites to coordinate and ensure project execution. Responsible for customer sign-off on all projects assigned.
• Develop relationship with customer and provide internal and external updates on project status and manage expectations throughout the project until the final payment is collected.
• Track project progress, identify and communicate critical path items and resource needs to keep projects on schedule and execute to completion.

Position Qualification Requirements

• Technical or Business degree or experience in Project Management or related experience is required.
• 5+ years of experience in a design, process, or research and development environment is required.

Required Competencies:

• Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess ability to work with assignments given in broad, general objectives and limits.
• Ability to support and participate in Lean Initiatives at BW Papersystems as needed.

Travel:

• 25-75% travel required depending upon location to visiting BWPS sites, driving/flying to customer locations.

Location:
Based in either our Madison, New Berlin, or Sheboygan office is preferred.
