The Project Engineer is responsible for managing, driving and leading preparation and implementation of capital projects in the factory, through the cross functional team cooperation and following CP capital expenditure budget standards. The project engineer will be responsible for assigned projects from concept to finalization.

What You Will Do

• Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
• Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors. (Manage Contractors)
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Maintains project database by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Manage CEB process to keep project within the approved budget.
• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.

Required Qualifications

• Skills/Qualifications:
• Design Skills
• Supervision
• GMP's
• Project Management
• CAD
• BS in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
• Requirements Analysis
• Documentation Skills
• Safety Management
• Process Improvement
• Validation (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Working knowledge of EOHS and Quality standards
• 4 years of experience in cGMP manufacturing with an emphasis on project management/engineering from project concept through implementation
• Manufacturing Methods and Procedures
• Technical Understanding

Salary Range $88,800 - $131,250 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
