360 Engineering, headquartered in beautiful downtown Golden, Colorado, is an award-winning mechanical design firm specializing in HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial structures. Our work spans new construction, laboratories, hospitals, hotels, and historic renovations. We are built on the philosophy that service starts on the inside. A high degree of collaboration between our member team and our clients supports our Shared Vision/Shared Success motto. We’re proud of our diverse project portfolio and are growing. We’re in search of an experienced engineer who is committed to our service values and wants to help us grow. Do we have your attention?

Our Values: Pride, Passion, and Performance

As the newest member of our team, you will be working with stakeholders to bring each project to reality with the highest level of customer service. You are a talented mechanical engineer who is proud of your work. You have your PE or are on the PE track but need some more time working on projects to get there. You’re working in a firm where your opportunities are realized only when someone else leaves the company, and you are tired of waiting. The opportunity to work on historic restorations and truly complex design challenges will take your career to new levels. Your passion for your work shows in your designs, your client interaction, and your teamwork. If you are up for a new challenge working with a market leader, doing what you do best, let’s chat!

Your Values: Customer Service, Quality, and Teamwork

How you’ll spend your days:

  • Issuing change requests when required
  • Balancing multiple project requirements without breaking a sweat
  • Selecting and scheduling equipment
  • Coordinating with all project stakeholders - architects, engineers, and clients - consistently and skillfully
  • Navigating changes, risks, and other construction messiness to the satisfaction of the contractor/owner and our company
  • Working side by side with your client stakeholders and internal project teams to deliver the best designs for each project
  • Providing load calculations and energy analysis on projects
  • Submitting weekly project reports, attending the weekly internal status meetings, and providing accurate progress billing information to accounting

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • A special interest in historical restoration projects – because we do a lot of them
  • Outcome-focused, results-oriented, and an unshakably positive attitude
  • Ability to hold team members accountable for their tasks and inspire their best efforts – you enjoy transferring your knowledge
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, and load software – we use Trace 700
  • Demonstrated experience with HVAC in new construction, re-engineering, and retrofit projects – and the portfolio to prove it
  • Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to set and make deadlines
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of professional experience as an HVAC/plumbing mechanical engineer– bonus points if you have your PE
  • Naturally self-directed, resourceful, with an agile mind – you can adapt and convey shifting priorities

Our team members enjoy:

  • Salary $80,000 - $110,000 and unmatched professional growth
  • The opportunity to work with a market leader, doing what you do best
  • Incredible suite of benefits
