Job Description

The Projects Designer/Drafter is responsible for the layout and design of pneumatic conveying process systems using 2D & 3D CAD as part of the Project Design Package.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Personal computer skills using Microsoft Office products.
  • Adept at 2D & 3D CAD design, knowledge of proper engineering drawing standards.
  • Knowledge of mechanical layouts, process machine layouts/stackups, and pipe system layout.
  • Knowledge of file management & organization of drawing files.
  • Knowledge of P&ID ISA symbology and how to apply (Process & Instrumentation Diagrams).


Education and Experience:

  • CAD Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in process machine layouts/stack-ups, layout of pipe systems preferred.
