Project Architect/ Architectural Job description

Here's an excellent ground floor opportunity with a growing company! EDRUS is seeking a Project Architect/ Architectural Designer that is experienced in various residential, small commercial and light industrial building types. Our projects are geared towards having the most positive social and environmental impact on our communities. We're seeking an individual who has the ability to manage and coordinate all phases of a project. Additional roles may include design team collaboration, project management and client management. This position will involve all phases of architectural design, construction documents, and construction administration. This candidate will be exposed to experience on construction sites.We mainly use SketchUp in our workflow so experience with the software is required.

General Skills and Requirements

• 3 years of Sketchup / Revit
• Construction administration, review submittals, field reports, punch lists, and project closing.
• Supervision and quality control of documents.
• Coordination with engineers and other consultants.
• Assist with permitting and other regulatory agencies.
• 5 years of Auto CAD experience
• Field verification and as-built measurements and evaluation.
• Proficiency in building component detailing and construction feasibility
• Code compliance
• Communication with clients and contractors.
• Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture
• Site planning and development reviews.
• Schedule Meetings with city officials
• Schematic design, floor plan layouts, architectural renderings.
• Licensure is a plus, but is not required
• Drawing Management
• Permitting of CD's
• Produce project specifications, probable cost estimates, and overall project schedules
• Development and production of construction documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $57,073.55 - $95,459.21 per year
