Project Coordinator \REMOTE


Working independently, under the general supervision of a contract admin operations leader, the Project Coordinator is responsible for maintaining contract files (both paper and electronic), which includes the addition of the relevant documents into electronic filing systems using standard work and standard naming conventions, understanding the impact of the contract changes and what stakeholders are impacted, filing and distribution completed contracts to key stakeholders. The Project Coordinator tracks and ensures the flow of documents to key parties for signature. Attention to critical dates and deadlines are required.


The Project Coordinator must be able to answer basic contracting questions from providers and internal operation departments and works closely with key stakeholder to resolve operational issues in specified time frames related to payer and provider contracts.


Assists as needed and provides support to Contracting staff on specified projects, with varying levels of complexity.


Depending on position assignment, Project Coordinators may be assigned specific essential functions; however, Project Coordinators are required to be cross-trained and knowledgeable of, and able to perform, all essential functions to ensure cross-coverage.

Required Qualifications


  • Word processing and spreadsheet experience.
  • Associate's Degree. Or equivalent educ/experience.
  • 3 years Experience in an office environment within a health care organization.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Strong technical experience, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3 years Experience with contracted managed care, payors and providers.
