Job Details
- Assist with ongoing projects, including planning events; and conducting research, writing, and editing documents, including memos, talking points and activity summaries.
- Help coordinate onsite, offsite, and virtual events, including coordinating VIP arrivals and departures, guest management, and AV coordination.
- Help coordinate engagement with external stakeholders in multilateral organizations, financial institutions, government, and the private sector, in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe.
- Produce relevant readouts and summaries of meetings both for internal record keeping and external knowledge sharing.
- Provide research, administrative, and logistical assistance to lines of programming within the Center with a focus on the Caribbean Initiative.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in monitoring and evaluation of program activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, political economy, public policy, communications, public affairs, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, logistical, and administrative skills.
- Superior writing, communication, and analytic skills; Spanish is a plus.
- Approximately 1-2 years relevant work experience.
- Proven track record in supporting multiple projects simultaneously and a demonstrated ability to work efficiently and collaboratively.
- Proven knowledge of political, economic, and social issues in the Caribbean.
