Job Description

Responsibilities

The Program Manager I is responsible for management of a specific program or group of programs in a specialty/functional area including scheduling and budgeting activities, working in collaboration with leaders to implement the program's objectives in support of identified goals and the continuous improvement process. Responsible for monitoring the program's effectiveness and mobilizing stakeholders in support of continuous improvement to the program. Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring ongoing effective program operation and/or implementation. Responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance or expand the program and presenting proposals to management. Oversees the process of executing initiatives essential for the success of the program, including communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external. May oversee and lead teams in support of the program's objectives. This role will oversee the use of conference / meeting space for internal and external customers, support planning and execution of scientific conferences, and will oversee many aspects of the institute's community relations functions, including sponsorships and tour coordination.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in business, health care or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience - 3 years experience in a lead role overseeing program/project management - 3 years experience working on quality and process improvement projects with cross-functional teams; including data collection, analysis and reporting - Proven record of project completion, program planning, execution and status reporting - Experience leading committees, activities and staff Required Credentials: - N/A Preferred qualifications:

  • Event and conference planning
  • Customer support
  • Operational administrative support

- Community engagement- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification - Experience analyzing improvement data and working with internal clients to analyze and develop improvement strategies - Experience project managing large complex organizational initiatives that cross all departments and roles

Min to Max Hourly Salary

$43. 17 - $64.75 /hr

Min to Max Annual Salary

$89,793.60 - $134,680.00 /yr

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
