Position Highlights:

Position Title: Program Evaluation Coordinator

Location: Remote OR Hybrid – IL, Springfield or Chicago

Position End Date: 6 months from hire date

Salary: $72,000 plus benefits

Overview:

The CDC Foundation is seeking a Program Evaluation Coordinator to research and develop a comprehensive database of the Office of Women's Health and Family Services' programming. The Coordinator will analyze internal program intersections, identify gaps or overlaps in services, and assess the relationship between external programs and OWHFS programming. The Coordinator's work will be a crucial first step in completing a comprehensive SWOT analysis and strategic plan to integrate existing programming, assess needed programs, communicate with stakeholders, and appropriately staff the office.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public health, health administration, or a related discipline. A master's degree may also be preferred
• Experience in program evaluation or assessment, database management, and data analysis
• Familiarity with relevant software such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to the field of public health or program evaluation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and colleagues

Responsibilities:

• Present findings in a report to OWHFS leadership
• Conduct research on current programming within the Office of Women’s Health and Family Services (OWHFS)
• Create a comprehensive database to track current programming
• Identify internal programs and their intersections to understand the flow of client services
• Analyze data to identify gaps, overlapping services, and underutilized programming
• Collaborate with stakeholders and agencies to develop a strategic plan
• Communicate with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure appropriate staffing for the office
• Assist with the integration of current programming
• Research and document external programs provided by other state agencies, local agencies, and non-governmental agencies in the same content area

This role is involved in a dynamic public health program. As such, roles and responsibilities are subject to change as situations evolve. Roles and responsibilities listed above may be expanded upon or updated to match priorities and needs, once written approval is received by both the CDC Foundation and the Illinois Department of Public Health, in order to best support the State of Illinois in their public health programming.

This position is currently a remote or hybrid position. CDC Foundation retains the right to make adjustments to this as required.
