FLSA STATUS: Salaried/Exempt

JOB LOCATION: Social Services - Youth

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for managing, supervising, and implementation of day-to-day operations of assigned programs to ensure the completion and compliance of program requirements and supervision/management of staff.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Prepare, complete, and submit required items by due dates and required timelines (i.e.; reports, monthly billing, program evaluations, guidelines, procedures, personnel items, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain good communication, collaboration, and cooperation with all stakeholders (i.e.; Wraparound, DMCPS, Children’s Court, etc.) NE
  • Implement and/or practice the duties and responsibilities of a mandated reporter of suspected child abuse under current policies and procedures, as required. E
  • Ensure and follow compliance with legal, organizational, and contractual requirements, laws and policies to include, but not limited to: audits, program evaluations and recommendations, licensing standards, new or enhanced policies and procedures. E
  • In collaboration with applicable stakeholders, ensure and follow compliance with legal, organizational, and contractual requirements, laws and policies to include, but not limited to: audits, program evaluations and recommendations, licensing standards, file and staff compliance, new or enhanced policies and procedures, services, provider notes, client files, complaints, monitor program revenue/expenses, etc. E
  • Perform other duties as assigned. NE
  • Serve as a liaison and representative for the organization, program, and staff with applicable stakeholders (i.e.; Milwaukee County). NE
  • Supervise (2 or more staff), evaluate, manage, and train/develop assigned staff in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the agency and work closely with the Division leadership as well as the Department of Human Resources to manage all personnel items (i.e.; interviewing, hiring, discipline actions, etc.). E
  • Attend all meetings and professional development activities, as directed. NE
  • Provide support, monitor, track, audit, consumer files, data, etc. of assigned programs and/or staff to include, but not limited to: planning, coordinating, organizing, and/or supervise day-to-day operations of respective program and staff, provide coverage for program supervisors/staff as needed (may transport clients), coordinate training of new staff, ensure program fidelity, collect and forward billing data to Accounting for processing, and correspond with applicable stakeholders. E

The employee is regularly required to drive, stand, sit, reach, stoop, bend, and walk. Employee is frequently required to see, talk, or hear. Finger dexterity is also required. Infrequent lifting, including files, will be encountered.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is generally performed in field and office environments, including travel. Local travel required; some state-wide travel as needed. Flexible hours required; as dictated by program needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:


1. Master’s Degree from an accredited College or University in Social Work or related field required.

2. Valid WI Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR Licensed Professional Counselor OR Licensed Family Counselor OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

3. Two (2) years of experience coordinating consumer care for youth with significant mental health, AODA, and co-occurring disorders required.

4. One (1) year of practical supervisory experience.

5. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, appropriate to target audiences across multiple functional areas, categories, levels, linguistic, and economic backgrounds; both in a team and individual environment.

6. Bilingual (Spanish and English), spoken and written. (Desirable)

7. Neat orderly person with great organizational skills.

8. Must be a “People Person” with a great disposition and outlook on life, who enjoys working with others, is upbeat and pleasant to work with and is a good listener.

9. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite.

10. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours as needed.

11. Excellent communication and documentation skills, written and verbal

15. Transportation, valid Wisconsin Driver’s license, state minimum auto insurance, and must meet La Causa, Inc. driving standards.
