The Social Business Unit (SBU) is the business arm of PSI that focuses on balancing commercial viability and social impact to deliver consumer-powered healthcare at scale through social enterprise entities in markets around the globe - including India, Southern Africa, Angola, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Paraguay, and Central America. The SBU vision is to design consumer-centric social enterprises that use a combination of digital and offline healthcare solutions to support consumers’ self-care journey, and give them choice, voice and agency in their health and well-being.
PSI seeks a Program Assistant that will Support PSI's operational excellence and execution of quality and standards by providing wide-ranging administrative and operational support to a market group or technical team. Liaise with global technical and service departments and network members/country project teams to support routine administrative needs and daily activities.
Hourly Pay Range
$21.15 (MINIMUM) - $25.00 (MID-POINT) - $28.85 (MAXIMUM)

Actual hourly compensation may vary and will be determined by factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, experience, internal equity, external market analysis, and other business factors permitted by law. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential future salary growth. Your contributions
  • Provides support for knowledge management activities, including the design of tools and systems for knowledge management and information tracking, creation and maintenance of internal filing systems, maintenance of online communications site(s), and development of communications materials. 30% of Time
  • Provides routine administrative support for daily operations, project management, and general functioning of assigned portfolio. 40% of Time
  • Provides basic financial management support, including assisting with basic team budget management, procurement and payment of consultants, vendors, subrecipients and other services, and management and reconciliation of purchasing card. 30% of Time

What are we looking for?
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
  • Some work experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with special attention to detail and timeliness.You must be able to keep yourself and others organized
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for capturing learnings and improving processes.
  • Associate's degree (or international equivalent) in a related field
  • Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field preferred
  • Ability to support several team members at a time, self-prioritize, and communicate needs
