The Program Aide - Course Editor & Reviewer, under general supervision, is responsible for supporting the development of hybrid, or online courses for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (COALS) and ensure courses are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Responsibilities:
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assists with accessibility-related course development tasks, such as formatting PowerPoints, writing alt text for images, remediating PDFs, and captioning.
  • Evaluates course materials for quality control, functionality, and accessibility.
  • Collaborates with instructional design staff to review and edit online, blended, and web-enhanced courses in Canvas.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Course review or course accessibility experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Fluent in English language.
