Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Production Supervisor to join our team! In this role you will get to work in a demanding and challenging environment to help benefit the riding population of New York City Transit Buses .

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates in the interview and selection process (including hiring recommendations), and makes staffing assignments in accordance with schedule requirements.
  • Develops production/installation plans, schedules, work requirements, metrics, and controls to support the solicitation and procurement of installation subcontractors/suppliers, as well as award in reviewing and assessing the adequacy of responses, including price and schedule.
  • Provide written and photographical documentation for all subcontractor/supplier work activities on a daily basis in documenting subcontractor/supplier progress and performance, including deficiencies associated with resources, labor productivity, equipment utilization, quality and safety compliance, consistent with the needs to document and defend change order and claims.
  • Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals, and provides training and development. Ensures that assigned personnel are thoroughly trained in and observe all safety measures related to their work area.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and makes appropriate recommendations for required actions, including recommendations for advancement, changes in status, or disciplinary action.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of assigned subcontractors/suppliers work in accomplishing the project schedule milestones, which includes the scheduling of, and/or attendance and participation to weekly schedule meetings assuring proper scheduling, sequencing and resourcing of the work, and resolution of issues and constraints outside of subcontractors/suppliers’ contractual obligations, including coordination with other contractors.
  • Ensures effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations policies.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • IPC-620 certification is a plus - it will be required for this position, but can be provided after employment
  • Associate's Degree (Preferred) and typically 10 to 15 years of experience in field construction or shop production environment is required.
  • Experience in the construction/production of mass transportation vehicles or industrial projects at domestic locations is preferred.

Salary Range:

$81,500.00 - $142,600.00
