Job Position: Packaging / Production Supervisor - (No Remote)

Clients Details -

My client produce over 250 varieties of fresh and frozen hearth food specialty items.

Job Summary -

Hands-on supervision of the packaging and/or production activities including the operation of standard or specially designed equipment to package bread products. Responsible for safety, training, quality, efficiency and cost standards. Trains and appraises the performance ability of subordinates.

Responsibilities -

• Ensure that you and your team members are accountable, or held accountable to meet company standards of production, conduct, policy or regulation.
• Review and recommend to Quality Assurance any changes to procedural charts as appropriate.
• Ensure proper communication is reciprocated between yourself and all parties relating to shift change or general information.
• Maintain in strict confidence, any medical records or information of subordinates.
• Assist in any applicable accident or root cause investigation.
• Assure that productivity flow is not interrupted by a shortage of supplies to the area or personnel issues within your control.
• Attend and participate in posted company meetings.
• Assist in the completion of performance reviews for team members where applicable.
• Proper reporting of all safety or mechanical deficiencies to the proper department or leader.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, resolving problems, rewarding and disciplining employees.
