Title: Production Scheduler
Location: Orrville, OH 44667 WE WILL PAY RELOCATION
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
Founded in 1965 we are the premier producer of truck & van bodies in the US. We specialize in the manufacturing of dry freight, custom cargo, refrigerated truck & platform van bodies with 14 manufacturing facilities across the US. Our facility in Orrville, OH has the need for a Production Scheduler who will manage the procurement of both direct & indirect material for support of manufacturing plan and be responsible for performing the production scheduling for our facility.
What You Will Be Doing

• Monitor & report supplier on-time delivery
• Initiate cycle counts requirements & update inventory records along w/ adjustments to safety stock
• Managing plant spend vs. budget for direct & indirect material
• Communicate non-conformances to suppliers &negotiate credits
• Manage procurement of direct & indirect material for support of manufacturing plan
• Schedule inbound supply chain to align w/ manufacturing SOP while supporting inventory
• Coordinate supply chain adjustments as production schedules change

What You Need for this Position

• 3+ years of production scheduling experience in make-to-order environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel & JD Edwards experience to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelors in Supply Chain or closely related field (or experience in lieu of degree)
• APICS CPIM certification (this is a plus)
• Knowledge of MRP systems
