Responsibilities:

• Efficiently allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve production goals
• Communicate production updates and potential challenges to relevant stakeholders
• Lead and manage the manufacturing team to achieve production targets
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain consistent product excellence, ensuring products meet or exceed quality standards through quality control and continuous improvement
• Manage inventory levels, procurement, and supply chain activities, ensuring production is uninterrupted
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and timely project execution
• Implement best practices and technological solutions to drive efficiency gains and reduce production costs
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor production metrics
• Identify streamlining opportunities for process enhancement, automation, and innovation
• Master a culture of safety and compliance by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, identifying, and mitigating potential hazards to create a secure work environment
• Inspire, coach, and mentor production staff, fostering professional development and creating a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention
• Develop and execute production plans, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing downtime

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in utilizing manufacturing software and technology tools for production planning and resource allocation
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques
• 10+ years of proven experience in manufacturing production management with a track record of achieving production targets and process improvements
• Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• Understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and procurement processes
