Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a proven track record in managing production teams effectively. This role involves ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our production processes while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Apply 5 S practices or lean manufacturing principles to drive process optimization and efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory management and coordinate with procurement to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials.
  • Read and understand process piping diagrams and ensure proper installation of low and medium-pressure tubing.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal resource utilization and timely delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and logistics to streamline production processes and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Lead and mentor production staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and foster a positive work environment.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily manufacturing activities to achieve production targets and meet customer demands.
  • Analyze production data, prepare reports, and present performance metrics to upper management.
  • Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Job Requirements:
  • Familiarity with cryogenic processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools to monitor and analyze production data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field experience is preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production challenges effectively.
  • 5+ years of experience in cryogenic manufacturing or related industries.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of production planning and scheduling, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Pay Rate:
$86,815.00 - $138,904.00
