Overview


As part of Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) rates and credit Risk production engineering team, you will be responsible for platform stability and developing monitoring efficiencies using tools like Geneos, New Relic etc. Design automation solutions for common tasks using languages like Java and Python. You will be responsible to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met for critical feeds and proactively resolve production issues using ITIL principles in Agile environment. What You’ll Do


  • Pick up current issues, analyze, and communicate effectively with development team(s) and stakeholders with possible solutions and next steps
  • Implement process inefficiencies solutions through automation utilizing existing tools
  • Implement process monitoring in tools like Geneos, New Relic


Skills You’ll Need


  • Ability to manage multiple issues / tickets and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Experienced in ITIL/DevOps/ Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices for supporting a production environment (e.g., ITIL v3 foundation certification, DevOps certification/Cloud Certification)
  • Cloud, Programming knowledge / experience a plus


Skills That Will Help You Excel


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable/flexible to changing situations, exposure to Agile methodologies
  • Bachelors’ Degree with a concentration in computer science or Information Technology (IT) -related discipline (or equivalent work experience or diploma)
  • A good problem solver with very good analytical skills
