Post Production Producer Jobs

Our client, a well-known direct-to-consumer online pet brand, has a need for a talented and experienced Post Production Producer to join their team in Plantation, FL. This is a temporary-to-permanent position that offers a hybrid work model, combining in-office and remote work flexibility. As a Post Production Producer, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating all aspects of post-production projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including editors, sound designers, visual effects artists, and project stakeholders, to ensure the smooth execution of projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and leadership skills. Responsibilities:

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Create and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in post-production techniques, tools, and technologies, and recommend process improvements as necessary.
• Identify and resolve any potential roadblocks or production issues, proactively providing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate and schedule all post-production activities, including editing, sound design, visual effects, color grading, and mastering, in collaboration with the relevant teams.
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the post-production process.
• Oversee and manage the entire post-production process, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting all quality standards.
• Implement and enforce post-production best practices and workflows to optimize efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
• In-depth knowledge of post-production processes, including editing, sound design, visual effects, and color grading.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with acute attention to detail.
• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous post-production projects is highly desirable.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in industry-standard software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Familiarity with budget management and financial principles.
• Proven experience as a Post Production Producer or similar role, preferably in the entertainment or media industry.
