Production Director - Outerwear

Our client, a leading outerwear brand, is seeking a Director of Production to join the team in New York.

Responsibilities:

•Own the entire approval process and Maintain the WIP report

•Source new factories and communicate with vendors overseas

•Create and organize both the Product Development and Production calendar

•Provide production updates to sales management and relevant teams

•Work with factories abroad and negotiate desired costing and margin goals without compromising design

Qualifications:

• Prior experience managing a team
• Ability and willingness to work in the NYC office full-time
• Background in outerwear is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong background in costing & sourcing, fabric, and garments
