Responsibilities:


  • Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, programs, and logistics when required.
  • A strong understanding, that the decisions made in the upfront review of customer requirements and supporting shop floor schedules, set the tone for our success.
  • Review work center level load concerns with Production Control Manager to ensure we allocate resources, and realign schedules as needed, to ensure smooth production and on time customer delivery.
  • Organize work order priorities with production control to ensure that proper priorities are put into work.
  • Ability to represent the company in a competent and knowledgeable fashion when working in concert with PM’s to help resolve customer concerns.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Maintain Forecast Items accuracy daily in ERP system.
  • Review scheduling change requests to ensure schedule change can be met as needed and coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure changes can be supported.
  • Review internal and external scrap making appropriate adjustments to existing and future orders.
  • Ensure all PO’s and Sales Orders are reviewed, processed and forwarded in a timely manner, typically within 72 business hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
  • Release work orders and print travelers to support customer requirements.
  • Proficient with Syteline and Factory Track; assists in day to day troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and monitor all customer Min-Max levels through customer provided forecasts.
  • Update and maintain department metrics.
  • Review Scheduling workbenches regularly to ensure supply and demand are accurately aligned.


Qualifications


  • Must be able to pay attention to detail.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written and listening skills and have the ability to provide written and verbal instructions and present information clearly
  • Must exhibit professionalism when communicating with superiors and subordinates.
  • Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Knowledge basic Lean manufacturing principals such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Process Improvement.
  • Must be discreet and able to hold sensitive information confidential.
  • Mut have knowledge of tooling, fixtures, materials and processes
  • Must be able to capture and assimilate information quickly.
  • Must have 3 years of experience working in a scheduling/production control environment
  • Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to understand and work with basic mathematical concepts
