Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
General Summary
Duties include positions such as: assembler, advanced machine operator, fabricator, or welder. The primary responsibility for these roles is to assemble products based on blueprints, opporate machines in the production process, pressing, assemble control panels, brazing, and welding products to move on to assembly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Mounts and assembles electrical components
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S, and Lean initiatives
- Perform other tasks as directed
- Help train new production employees as directed
- Handle and maintain flow of materials and products through the production flow
- Review unit assembly drawings and electrical schematics to develop a strategy to identify placement of components and sensors
- Cross-train within the department
- Contribute to safety and process improvements
- Work from production systems, blueprints, and verbal/written instructions
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S, and Lean initiatives
- Maintain accurate daily production records
- Troubleshoot wiring and component issues
- Responsible for the quality of product based on set standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be in current position for 6 months
- No Written Warning for attendance in the last 6 months
- Must be at least a Grade 2
- No disciplinary actions within the last 6 months
Physical Demands
- Continuous lifting, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc.
- Must lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day
